The park is the northern extension of the huge Serengeti-Mara environment, known for its yearly wildebeest migration. Arrive on time for lunch. Afternoon game drive until sunset at this amazing location with breathtaking scenery, never-ending plains, and the most diverse species found anywhere in the world.
Maasai Mara National Reserve
Following breakfast, you will spend the remainder of the two days game watching on morning and afternoon game drives. Wildlife is abundant in the Reserve, and the soft grasses ensure that animals are seldom out of sight.
Birds are abundant, including immigrants; 450 bird species have been reported, including 57 birds of prey. Every year, the Mara plays host to the world's greatest natural spectacle: the Great Wildebeest Migration from the Serengeti. The big cats, lions, leopards, and cheetahs, follow the wildebeest, their primary source of food, into the Mara.
