Serengeti-Mara environment, known for its yearly wildebeest migration. Arrive on time for lunch. Afternoon game drive until sunset at this amazing location with breath-taking scenery, never-ending plains, and the most diverse species found anywhere in the world. The environment consists of sweeping savannahs interspersed with sparse bushes and bush thickets.
Dinner and Overnight: Zebra Plains Camp
Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner
Following breakfast, you will spend the remainder of the day game watching on morning and afternoon game drives. The Reserve is teeming with wildlife, and the soft meadows keep them visible at all times. Birds are abundant, including immigrants, with 450 bird species documented, including 57 birds of prey. Every year, the Mara hosts the world's greatest natural sight, the Great Wildebeest Migration from the Serengeti. The big cats, including the lion, leopard, and cheetah, follow the wildebeest into the Mara, which is their primary source of food. So, at this season, the Mara is literally teeming with wildlife, presenting lucky safari travellers with spectacular sights of game.
