Day 1: Nairobi-Diani
Depart Nairobi by SGR. Upon arrival at the Miritini Train Station you will be met by our representative who will take you to your hotel via the ferry. Check in and relax around the hotel or just take a walk along the sandy beach. After your lunch, engage yourselves in the various activities that the resort offers. Later dinner will be served.
Day 2: Shimba Hills National Reserve/Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary
Have an early breakfast and proceed to Kwale where you will visit two of its main attractions. First visit Shimba hills National Reserve which is known for its beautiful green vegetation, forested landscape, sharp slopes and steep valley. Wildlife found at the reserve is elephants and Kenya’s only population of Sable antelopes. Also found at the reserve is the Sheldrick falls. Later visit Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary created to fight deforestation and protection of elephants. Return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at the resort/hotel.
Day 3: Leisure
These days are spend at leisure around the hotel or at the beach. You may decide to take a refreshing swim in the hotel’s pool or at the beach and romantic walks along the beach. Alternatively you can spend the day in your room relaxing. Dinner and overnight at the hotel/resort.
Day 4: Wasini Island
After breakfast head to Wasini Island. Upon arrival we will sail in a dhow. During this journey we will search for the dolphins which is a beautiful site to see the mammals in their natural habitat. Later we go for swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of Indian Ocean. Dinner and overnight at the resort.
Day 5: Diani-Nairobi
Relax around the hotel on this last day. Have a romantic morning jog or walk along the beach. After your walk take your breakfast and indulge in water activities like beach volleyball, snorkeling, camel riding among others. Check out of the Resort and drive to Miritini for your return Journey.
