10 Days Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara,  Serengeti  & Ngorongoro Safari Package

This safari is a combination of Kenya and Tanzania wildlife safaris exploring the best wildlife sceneries as well as cultural highlights. This 10 day wildlife safari starts in Nairobi and ends in Nairobi. The safari begins at Lake Nakuru followed by Masai Mara, Serengeti and finally the gorgeous Ngorongoro Crater. You are sure of creating lasting memories with this safari.

Day 1: Arrival/Nairobi:

Upon arrival at the airport you will be transferred to your hotel to relax. The rest of the day will be spent at leisure enjoying and utilizing the hotel’s facilities as you unwind as well as preparing for the safari. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi/Nakuru:

After breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Upon arrival drive to your lodge with a game drive en route arriving in time for lunch. After a little relaxation, head out on your afternoon game drive in this park that is often referred to as a bird-watcher’s paradise and which also has a rhino sanctuary. Wildlife in this park include cheetahs, leopards, lions, waterbucks, zebras, gazelles, Rothschild Giraffe amongst others. Drive back to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Nakuru/Masai Mara:

Proceed to Masai Mara Game Reserve after breakfast. Masai Mara is arguably the world’s most famous game reserve with unrivaled natural beauty and wildlife concentration. This Reserve is home to all the big five i.e. elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, and the rhino. Over 90 species of mammals are found in this diverse reserve. Besides mammals, over 350 bird species have been recorded here. Overnight and dinner at the camp/Lodge.

Day 4 and 5: Masai Mara:

After breakfast begin our game viewing extravaganza with both morning and evening game drives around the reserve. Maasai Mara is believed to be Kenya’s prime wildlife area. Lions are found in abundance, elephants, buffaloes, Black rhinos, giraffes, genet cats, roam antelopes, leopards, cheetahs & Black-manned lions. A drive to the famous Mara River will give you the chance to see the huge crocodiles basking on the sun. During the wildebeest migration which occurs mostly between July-October the Mara River turns to a valley of death where only the strong wildlife survive. Zebras, antelopes & wildebeest cross into Mara to seek greener pastures in Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

Day 6: Masai Mara – Sirari border – Serengeti:

After an early breakfast, drive to Sirari border on Kenya/Tanzania (Mara/Serengeti). This will involve a change of vehicles and driver guides. Proceed to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. This park has  breathtaking landscapes teeming with wildlife. Big game feed in full view of in this park. Enroute game viewing as we head to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast we will begin our full day game drive in Serengeti National Park. This is the largest park in Tanzania covering more than 14,000 square kilometers. The park’s attractions include: The annual great wildebeest migration, the endless plains and the savannah vegetation, balloon safari and numerous birdlife and wildlife including Lion, African Elephant, African Leopard, cheetah, African Buffalo, hyena Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelle, topi, eland, water buck, baboon, African wild dog, impala and giraffe. The park has about 500 bird species, including Kori bustard, ostrich, secretary bird, martial eagle, crowned crane, marabou stork, lovebirds and many species of vultures.

In the late afternoon, we will head back to your lodge for hot shower, dinner and overnight at a Lodge/camp.

Day 8: Serengeti/Ngorongoro:

After breakfast have a game drive and later proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a stop at Olduvai Gorge for a pre-historic tour. Arrive at the lodge/camp in the evening for leisure and relaxation. Views from the rim of the crater are splendid. The crater has become a unique conservation area where Lion, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo roam in perfect safety. Dinner and overnight at a camp/Lodge.

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro crater. It is famous for its different attractions which include alkaline lakes, forest, and different vegetation, hot springs, different kinds of wildlife and birdlife and its landscape. Among the common wildlife in the crater includes; lion, leopard, zebra, elephant, African buffalo, warthog, hyena, wild dogs, the rare black rhino, wildebeest and varieties of migratory and resident birdlife whereby more than 350 different species have been recorded.

We will have memorable morning and afternoon game drive before heading back to the lodge for hot shower, dinner and overnight at a camp/lodge.

Day 10: Ngorongoro/Arusha/Nairobi/Departure:

After breakfast walking Safari at the parks boundary with your packed lunch, you will then drive back to Arusha. Arrive late afternoon for preparation to be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home.
